Andrzej Pecio

My photographic journey began in 1975, inspired early on by intensive self-education and my first SLR camera, the Praktica Super TL. Over the years my interests evolved from photographing everyday surroundings to macro photography, and eventually to using photography as a way to understand and portray people authentically.
I have collaborated with magazines such as Wszechświat and Fascynacje, was a member of the Czas B photographic group, and currently belong to the Małopolska Association of Cultural Creators. I have participated in numerous exhibitions in Poland, as well as two exhibitions in Georgia at the Karvasla National Museum in Tbilisi, including the well-received Three Generations exhibition and a solo show titled Return to the Beginning, devoted to the lives of shepherds.
